Gary has been a member of the Glass & Company team since he joined the firm in 1991 as a staff accountant. Now a principal in the firm’s tax department, he provides tax planning and financial accounting services for individuals, trusts, estates, corporations and partnerships. His many years of experience and length of service with the firm have made him an invaluable resource for colleagues as well as clients.
While extremely knowledgeable in all areas of tax planning and preparation, Gary specializes in tax services and consulting for individuals and small businesses. From helping clients sort through their options regarding wills or trusts, to assisting small business owners with asset management or succession planning, Gary has earned a reputation for being an adviser who truly values his client relationships and has a passion for helping people achieve their goals.
With over 20 years of professional experience, Gary often serves as a sounding board for clients who are mulling over important financial decisions. With his unique background as a Lutheran minister and hospital chaplain, clients know they can count on him for undivided attention, an honest opinion and solid advice. As a graduate of both the seminary and two public universities, Gary is a strong advocate for giving back to the community and has served on the boards of many civic and charitable organizations. Originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi, Gary currently resides in Lakeway, Texas and enjoys getting outdoors as often as possible. When away from the office, he spends time golfing, swimming, walking and simply taking pleasure in the warm weather of Texas.
