What’s New at Glass & Company?

We are excited to welcome several new team members!

New Faces
Paula Hudson
is delighted to join the Glass & Company team as Tax/Litigation Administrative support .  She’s a native Austinite and dyed-in-the-wool Longhorn alumna.   In her off hours you’ll find her on the dance floor at Austin Uptown Dance with her husband, Bart, or in her studio working on couture costuming and design.  With the rest of her “free” time, Paula enjoys writing fiction, reading, riding her motorcycle, kayaking, and checking in with her two amazing children, April and Mitchell, who are off pursuing their own dreams.

In August, Jo Anne Molitor joined Glass & Company serving as Tax/Litigation Administrative support. She is also thrilled about her forthcoming role in 2014 as a member of the Central Texas Community Leadership Board for the American Diabetes Association.   She proudly welcomed her first grandchild in July, and loves boating with her husband and two teenage boys on the Austin lakes while participating in her favorite water sports, skiing and wakesurfing.

As Glass & Company’s new receptionist, Kara Wagner is the welcoming face and voice for our team.  She is originally from Arlington, TX but graduated from Texas A&M in 2010. However, over the past two years, she’s fallen in love with the city of Austin and hopes to stick around for as long as she can. Kara enjoys cooking, running, seizing adventures, and hopes to eventually pursue a career in professional counseling.

Happy Birthday!
There have been plenty of goodies in the office recently with several birthdays to celebrate!  Grant Alkire celebrated an August birthday and Lana Hairston and Bryce Birdsong continued the festivities with September birthdays!

When we started One Source Manufacturing in 1997, we quickly went through two to three accounting firms without much success. Then we found Glass & Company and have been with them ever since. There are very few CPA firms in the Austin area that have the capability to service manufacturing companies. Glass & Company has a thorough understanding of the challenges that manufacturers face and the expertise to handle it all.””
